Yes you can. But it's not simple.
You can either use a regular courier service like DHL. The problem is that the security checks would be rigorous, there will be delays and the cost would be high. Not to mention the customs duty you will have to pay on arrival.
The other way is using specialty shipping that is build just for this - shipping electronics from USA to India.
These guys buy the item at a temporary local address (their own). Then ship it to you in India through them.
This is for those who don't have any contacts in USA though.
If you have your relatives in USA, the best way out is to send it through someone traveling to India. There is a service for it called ManyShip (Google them). What they do is find you guys who are traveling to India and arrange them to send the item.
Problem with them is that sometimes, you won't find a person. And you have to wait until there is somebody willing.
So, if you don't care about money, buy it with the help of your relatives or friends in USA and ship it to them. Ask them to ship it back to you in India via a regular courier. And deal with the expensive shipping charges + customs duty.
If you are worried about the cost, then either do the waiting and ship via BorderLinx or ManyShip. Or even better, buy the product in India online (via Flipkart or Amazon) using an international credit card.
P.S - Amazon also offers worldwide shipping on selected products these days. You can use it to but laptops from USA and ship to India via Amazon. So much easy!
All the best.
